Why are we raising a generation of over protected momma boys?

I am sick of how everything is now a danger in our society and that you have to be careful with everything because it poses a risk to children. i.e. Christmas Ornaments, toys, "germs"(which only stengthens the immune system), piece of paper which could give them a major cut...

I can go on with the smallest things that could harm a child, lets start just clearing out our homes to nothing because you know we can't have beds because all those bugs in it.

True I understand those out there that might get upset with this question because of lead poisoning (don't buy Chinese things), little things babies could swollow, but I am talking about actual kids.

What scrapbook albms are best for...?

slow-paced scrapbookers? I bought my first Creative Memories album eight years ago and still only have a few pages done. I bought some of the CM tools but I also have items from craft stores like HobbyLobby & Michael's. I am looking for a brand of genuine leather albums with pages that are easy to find in the craft stores or Wal-Mart/Target and are not overly priced. I'm thinking of getting rid of all the un-neccessary tools and junk and just doing pics with writing so that I can actually get them done. I'm eight years behind. Anyone have any suggestions?

Don't put pressure on yourself to buy into the scrapbook merchandisers' hype. It's for people who have the time and money to buy their stuff and glue it into their books. There's no art or creativity in it, only time and money. So don't feel guilty. Just get regular photo albums with pages that will be readily available when you are ready to add them, or boxes that are sized for photos so you can file them by date and just leaf through when you feel like looking at your memories.

If you get inspired to decorate a page while you're putting the photos in, then do it with items you already have. Don't feel like you have to buy things and keep up with someone else's idea of what you should do.

I think your idea of just photos and handwritten captions will be refreshingly personal. Those who come after you will appreciate your own handwriting much more than a bunch of stickers that look like everyone else's.
