How can I make a photo look vintage like these on photoshop?

I saw these images on the internet and I wanted to know how I can get my photos to have that scratched up torn look to them. I already know how to get them the proper colors and whatnot I just need to know how to make them scratched and torn like these.

Using the Background layer, make a copy of it. Set the opacity down to 70 or 80%. Add noise (from effects). Delete the background layer but keep the background copy layer. You're good to go.

Cricut Cutting Mats

What's wrong with my Cricut machine?

I have the smaller Cricut.. I've had it about a month now. My problem is when I am using the machine I load the mat/paper and it will pull it in, But when its time for it to cut... the screen says "Cutting" but its actually not doing anything. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

When you say it does "nothing", is in completely still, or is it making noise but not cutting?

When I first got mine, it made noise but did not cut, and it was because I needed to put the needle in correctly and change the depth on the machine. It took a little bit of adjusting, and I don't remember exactly what I did, but it started cutting after that.

If it really does nothing at all, take it back and get a new one, or contact the manufacturer.

I love my Cricut, I hope yours works soon!

Stamp Great Impressions

Which potrait company could this stamp possibly belong to?

I found a picture of what could possibly be my great grandmother or my great great grandmother however it is damaged. However, I found a partial elipictal stamp impression which states "St. Louis Stu (Im guessing the stu was cut off and meant studio) on the top. In the middle, it has 1258 S. Broad but the "D" was cut off so theres more to the address. On the bottom it has St. L with the L cut off. This company probably doesnt exist anymore but I still want to find out.
