where can I get a rubber stamp made for embossing my wedding invitations?
I want to make my own wedding invites. I want a stamp made that says so and are inviting you to there wedding on this date to tie the knot....Not in those words but that's just an example. I want to have one stamp so I don't have to worry about and mix ups or errors. I was given some good ideas yesterday but not exactly what i'm looking for. Are there any rubber stamp embossers out there that can help. or anyone thank you for your help I really appreciate it:) Also looking for a website to get paper for the invitations
And yes you can use stamps for embossing. There is an embossing techinique where you use a stamp, clear ink pad, and an embossing heat gun. I know ive done it before when I was a kid. Just not for card making:) So any ideas I can get a personalized stamp made is greatly appriciated.
Well, a rubber stamp and an embosser are two different things...
A stamp presses ink onto the paper, and an embosser presses on the paper with a metal shape so hard that the paper becomes slightly raised where the embosser was pressed, like the gold seal on a diploma, for example.
In either case, you can have both of them made at an office supply store, like Staples or Office Depot, etc., but an embosser is going to be much more expensive and take a long time to make, while a stamp will be ready in just a few days.
