My mom's PPFF Pal Mary drove all the way to the Recycle Bin to get me the cutest lil adoption you ever did see! There's a story about those kids but I can't tell ya right now cause my ma will hear. *g* What a silly sweetie that Mary is... she searched all over to find the right adoption and when she couldn't find it she had one made for us. Mom knew she wouldn't find one so she thought she was safe HA!! Mary sure showed her huh? *giggles*
Me and Nikki got to play all day. I even got to help her wrap presents and
played in her room with her almost all day, it was great!! I
love being with my Nikki and being freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! And I
was a good doggy too! We played Lord of the Ball Nikki was Frodo
and I was the wizard and I hadda find the ball after she hid it.
Piece a cake! I can smell that thing a mile away! LOL!! :o) Love,

~ Howdy Folks!!
Do you wanna know how silly this dog is? If I
get up to go into the kitchen or the bathroom or something when
I come back I can always count on her to be sitting in my chair.
Thankfully I have learned from experience to move my computer
chair far away from my desk but this chair thing is the cutest
thing you ever did see. It's like she's keeping it warm for me.
LOL!! Either that or she knows it's gonna be a nice warm spot
when I get up. heehee... I gotta love this silly dog!!
It has been a year since we lost our sweetie
Speedy and a day does not go by without me thinking of her but Peanut has been
very helpful in my heeling process. Ain't nothing like cuddling and hugging
something that hugs back and keeps your chair warm!! :o)

Friday, December 6, 2002 ~ Yuck... That mean ol' Nikki took me outside yesterday and all this cold white stuff was all over the place. It was horrible!! I just stood there and shivered. Goofy mom was taking pictures and every time I managed to make it up the steps to the door Nikki would pick me up and toss me back out in the snow. What a meanie!! Sheesh... she coulda put my winter sweater on. It wouldn't have kept my feets warm but at least my belly woulda been warm. That stuff is cold!! Brrrr.....
Dad always plows
out a long wide path in the front yard so Nikki can catch the
school bus without getting her feets wet, maybe later on today
I'll try to venture out once more. Mom hopes I poop a couple
times in the path like Speedy used to do. Heehee... Nikki had to
step very carefully in the path back then. Ain't she bad?

~ No
burglars
stopped by on Thanksgiving. It was pretty boring sitting around
with nobody to play with but I survived.
I had an interesting time yesterday though!
Nikki was using Mom's computer and wasn't paying attention to me
when I stole moms ink pen. I had the purdiest blue paws and
tongue you ever did see! And there's these teeny puppy
prints all over my moms love seat! Mom was mad! Nikki got yelled
at and I got a bath! Ewww.... and Nikki brushed my teeth!
On a good note I got a new collar. Dad's
gotta add one more hole cause it's a bit big but this one is
black and matches my every day outfit perfect. :o)

~ A special shout out to all my best buds... Happy
Thanksgiving every one!! Mom's been Ms Space Cadet here
lately and has been doing 20 things at once. Cooking, cleaning,
computing and goofin around with me, Nikki and Nikki's friend
Roxanna. Roxanna even tried out my cage. She could only get half
way in but it was fun having some company. We even got some
pictures while I jumped on her head. Nikki and her friends are
so much fun.
I watched and whined while they made the
lemon pudding pies and green bean casseroles that each will be
bringing to dinner tomorrow. I don't get to go because I have to
work. Remember mom's hoodie zipper I ate a while ago? Well it's
time to pay the piper. My job will be to guard the house. Sure
hope nobody tries to get in cause they will be in for a BIG
licking!! LOL!!
Been doing real good with my word training. I
know and obey the words off, sit, stay, leave it, hush and come

~ As you may have read on Peanut's Training page the water squirt bottle is used as a
deterrent to bad behavior and as an attention getter. Don't you
know the dorky dog actually likes it!! Ugh!! I don't know who's
worse Chuck or the dog! He had her on his lap and was squirting
the water right into her mouth and she was loving it! She was
even trying to squirt the darn thing herself when he would stop!
*sigh* Sometimes I wonder... Am I the only grown up here??

~ Been kinda quiet this week that's cause I gotta be good. That
big ol' fat guy will be coming next month and I don't wanna miss
out. It'll be my very first Christmas. Wonder how hard it'll be
to stay away from the tree? I heard mom tell dad she wished she
could find a large cardboard cutout of a Christmas tree so I
can't destroy all the ornaments. I'm real good at that ya know.

~ Does Home Schooling your dog count as being a homeschool Mom?
Heehee... If so I guess that's what I'll be in a couple more
days. Nikki's mad!! Awww... How come Peanut gets to be home
schooled?? LOL!! I told her she already knows how to sit, stay,
lay down and poop in the potty but if she wants to learn to poop
outside, I'll gladly teach her after her real school!!
I contacted Peanut's breeder and she gave me a number of a dog
trainer who comes out to your house and trains the peoples the
commands to train the dog. All 3 of us must be present. Meaning
Chuck, Nikki and I plus we're going to have to take notes. He
sounded pretty interesting so we'll see how it goes. The
fun begins next Monday night!!!!!!!

Aunt Diane was here today so I got locked up!

waiting for redistribution. Oughta have my scattering spree done
in time for my dad to get home. Wooo Hooo..... life as a dog is
so grand! I make a mess and somebody else gets to clean it up!!

~ Today was a fun day! I got to bark at the oil guy, the
mailman, the UPS guy and the neighbors all in the same hour. Mom
forgot to check my food bowl, it was empty and I was hungry so I
proceeded to help myself. Good thing for her she heard the clip
fall on the floor or maybe she woulda been picking up 25 lbs of
dog food. I'm a persistent lil thing.
I dropped my bone behind the couch and
instead of going around the couch by way of the floor I tried
going over the couch. I got stuck. Mom rescued me. Ugh!! I hate
when that happens! Later on I was chewing on the label of my new
meowing cat toy. Mom tried to chase me but I'm much faster, I
had to hurry up and swallow it before she could take it way.
Then while she was in the other room folding the clothes her
paper towel must have fallen out of her pocket. Boy did I have a
field day with that! Me and her got to race for the pieces when
she came back, that was fun!

Dinkey, Disney's lil brother dropped me a line yesterday to
tell me my pal Disney crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on 10-17.
This made my mom real sad
so she spent the day making a lil doggy angel
for Andrea and the kids Dinkey included. I'm sure Speedy is
taking real good care of Disney up there in doggy heaven.
It'll be a year next month that my mom lost Speedy and sometimes she still gets
sad.
Mom
often thinks about deleting Speedy's pages but just when she thinks about doing
it somebody writes to her about their silly or sick JRT. So she'll probably keep
them up a while longer. Love,

Whatsmatter Artie ol boy didn't ya like my cowsicle? No prob... more for me! :o) Me and mom will be visiting you guys real soon. She hasn't been feeling good since they took her tooth, plus she got mad at me for eating the zipper on her new hoodie. Now I have to buy her a new one. She' s gonna make me sell some of my toys. I don't know what the big deal is, she never zipped it up anyway.

new toys. I heard daddy tell mommy if she don't quit buying me
toys he's gonna take her credit card away. They were having a
big buy one get one free sale at

she told him she couldn't resist. The way I
go through toys she needs to have plenty on hand. I said things
like zippers, shoes, and paper towels are fine by me but she
wont listen. Wait until you see my new reindeer ears I'm gonna

October 18, 2002 ~ The Friday 5's are dorky this week so
I ain't playin! Got my Halloween costume. Ain't tellin what I'm
gonna be you'll have to guess. Maybe I'll make ya pick me out of
a line up or something. My Nikki is gonna be Lil Red Riding Hood
and she was gonna make me be the big bad wolf but mom wouldn't
let her spend 20 bucks on a costume for a dog. I almost got to
be Toto too but that didn't work out either. Mom told Nikki ARE
YOU NUTS?? Like if I'd let you take Peanut out trick or
treating! Knowin Nikki she'd tie me to a tree and forget about
me.
Well this has to be short cause mom's decorating again. When
you see this it'll be so organized you won't believe your eyes. Thank you Aunt
Laurie!! :o) Oh and thank you too for my very first award. I'm glad somebody
liked this place enough to give me a present. Doggies have feelings too ya

October 14, 2002 ~ I thought because Nikki was older
Peanut would be spared the agony of having to play dress-ups.
WRONG!! Poor doggy made a mad dash out here to be saved from the
confines of Nikki's bedroom/torture chamber with a bear stuck to
her butt. Only to be followed by the giggling evil villain
herself.
At
first look my heartfelt sympathies when out to my lil sweetie
pie but then Nikki told her to sit and when she did the bear sat
too. Apparently well rehearsed before this presentation and
after a few quick alterations when the dog ran it looked like
the bear was running too but only backwards.
The silly dog was actually having a ball and
seemed to know she was the target of everyone's laughter and
preceded to sit on command over and over again with the bear
following suite, looking almost as if the two just happened to
be sitting sweetly together on purpose. Fat chance of that ever
happenin' with a Jack Russell. :o)

10, 2002 ~ An Hour in the Life of a Puppy Mom was
trying to watch Dharma and Greg but I kept on bugging her. I
tried real hard to sit still and did for a little bit but my
puppy instincts took over.
First I needed to give her
a few licks, then I tried tasting the buttons on her shirt, got
a few pets, gave her more licks, tickled her feets with my cold
nose. She tried to grab me and give me a kiss all the while
saying will your please keep still but I'm way faster and
squirmed away.
Got a few more pets.
Picked up my moose and ate the label for a bit, grew tired,
started rough housing with Mr. Moose, Mr. M whacked Mom in the
head a couple times, gave her more kisses. stuck my nose in her
ear, tried for the buttons again, settled for the remote
control. That didn't last long. Barked at the sound in the
driveway.
Brought my bone up on her
lap, accidentally chomped down on her leg. She screamed, threw
my moose and bone on the floor, made me get down. Got right back
up again, gave her more kisses, licked her glasses, barked at
Nikki, tried to eat her pony tail, got a few more pets and she
told me to be good. Whined at the gate, got a few pets from
Nikki, Chuck walked by, got pets from him. Got a drink, stuck my
wet nose in moms ear. gave her a few licks, watched the doggy on
TV, barked at the doggy on TV, ate some dog food, jumped back up
on mom, farted ('xcuse me),
Ohh here comes Nikki! Hi Nikki!! boing, boing,
got a fresh drink. Jumped up on Nikki's lap, gave her kisses,
washed her face, ate her hair, buried myself between her and the
pillows, stole her sneaker, chased her around the family room,
gave the sneaker back, stole the other one, chased her around
some more. Nikki left. Whined at the gate for her to come back.
She didn't.
Barked at the jogger running past my house.
got a drink, burped, gave mom more wet kisses, found my squeaky
toy, made a lot of noise. The phone rang, it wasn't for me but
barked a greeting anyway, made more noise with my squeaky toy,
tried to get mom to help me eat the squeaky toy, she threw it
across the room, I brought it back, she threw it again, I
brought it back, she threw it again, I brought it back, she
threw it over the gate into the next room, I looked at it
through the gate. *sigh* :o( wandered around a bit, she got
up...
...turned off the TV and went on the
computer, I chased my giggle duck around the room, made a buncha
noise, dug under the pillows on the couch, found a comfy spot.
yawn... zzzz..............

I decided to do the September 20th Friday
Five because this weeks questions about shoes did not apply to
me. The only thing I can do with shoes is eat em. :o)
1. Would you say that
you're good at keeping in touch with people? Sure I touch
people all the time. I live to jump up on the people I meet and
lick their face!
2. Which communication
method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail,
blog comments, or meeting in person? Why, whining,
whimpering and barking usually work best for me and gets me all
the attention I need.
3. Do you have an
instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do
you use it? I'm smart but not that smart. At least not
yet. I don't know how to type. Well I can type (Mom says I know
more PSP shortcuts than she does) I just don't know how to
spell.
4. Do most of your
close friends live nearby or far away? My bestest friends
live right here. That's my m & d and my Nikki. My cousin Smokey
comes to visit often but he gets tired of me REAL quick. The
rest come to visit only when they have too cause I make them
nuts. :o)
5. Are you an "out of
sight, out of mind" person, or do you believe that "distance
makes the heart grow fonder"? Out of sight, out of mind
works for me in regard to people but not stuff. I know EXACTLY
where each and every treat or toy is buried.

Being as I'm not allowed to watch TV I may as well look at
something eh? My tip for today... whatever you do not buy
Tropical Typhoon Mike and Ike's! Blaa..ack! They're nasty!!
I LIVE FOR THE SUNNY SPOTS!! (A... hemm... we
won't name names) Somebody
dragged my toy basket into the sunny spot and I want to take a
nap but it's so lumpy in there, guess I'll have to take
everything out huh? *g* Mom's mad cause she forgot to buy
another roll of film and missed a great shot. To bad Mom!
I found
a new comfy spot. Since Mom has to roll her chair so far away
from her desk because of me I've been making use of the
opportunity. Not only do I get a great place to catch a snooze
but I get to bundle myself in her new hoodie. It's so soft and I
like chewing on the flugglebinder thingys at the end of the
string thingys. We always have a race to see who can get to the
chair first. I always win until I see this big butt coming at my
head. Ohhhhh Nooooo don't sit on me Mom!! Gosh, I love bein a

25, 2002 ~ Thankfully Peanut is fine and survived her
escapades onto my desk adventure. I think next time I'm going to
try grounding. What do you think? No TV for a week? I know...

23, 2002 ~ How's Peanut??? UGH!!!!! You hadda ask?? This
dog is so bad!! I been monitoring her since dinner. My sister
came over to get some of the stuff she was storing here now that
her new house is finished and I hurried out of my chair to
answer the door.
Talk about mayhem and
madness... Nikki's holding the dog, her friend is holding her
mouth open and I'm squirting this solution into her mouth. Then
the fun really begins!!! The dog starts getting sick everywhere
but won't stay still. We're chasing her from room to room with a
roll of paper towels cleaning up piles as we go. (Thank heavens
for hard wood floors!!!!!) All the while Chuck is sitting
watching TV calmly eating his dinner telling the dog "Do you
gotta go that here?" Grrr....

17, 2002 ~ Hi Peoples!! Us Jack Russell Terriers need
plenty of stimulation. If we're bored we only manage to get
ourselves into BIG trouble. I've just been playing with my
Wiggly Giggly Play Pal. Gotta tell you this is the best new toy
I ever played with. It's soooo much fun chasing and tossing this
thing all around the family room and mind you, our family room
is 23'x25' so my playing space is huge! Mom got me just the
Giggle Ball first and while I had fun with that this is
fun x's10!! The cool plush outfits make all the difference
in the world. Instead of just rolling the ball around, having
the clothes gives us doggies the ability to grip, drag, shake
toss and tumble this toy around for TONS of added fun and his
nose squeaks too. I just spent about 20 minutes playing with my
duck and now I'm so pooped I gotta take me a lil nap. If you
have a dog he/she NEEDS a Giggle Pet!! Read below what PetSmart
says about the Giggle Pet. And guess what? No batteries! :o)
Mom
likes this product so much she called the company to thank them
and to find out if the outfits can be sold separately. The lady
said not this year but maybe next year. Mom asked for a catalog
too. Oh Goody!! Maybe she'll get me some more. :o) Love,

Chewing my bone while sitting on my favorite person.
I NEVER get to have any fun!!
Meanwhile I left my desk chair to close to my desk and Peanut
decided to help herself onto my desk and that's not all... She
helped herself to my diabetes medicine. When I came back into
the room she had the bottle with all the pills spilled out on
the couch.
I rushed to call the vet, then I called my MD. Now I'm on alert
to make sure her sugar doesn't drop to low. I had to give her
hydrogen peroxide and water to make her get sick.
As some of you may or may not know I'm about half blind and
forget checking these piles to see if any pills were in there. I
wouldn't be able to see em anyway and no one else was willing to
look! SO now I'm just hoping she just tasted the medicine,
didn't like it and spit it out and just was concentrating on
chewing up the bottle. Peanut seems to be resting comfortably.
She ate some food so she isn't getting sick anymore and I'm just
keeping my eye on her.
Needless to say between my medicine and my cigarettes EVERYTHING
is now tucked safely away from this pesky lil puppy dog who
thinks she's a cat and climbs on chairs to get up on desks!
Boy do I miss
Speedy!!!!!!!!!!!
