December 11, 2003 6:24 pm ~ Peanut got some of her presents yesterday in the mail. And whenever I order from www.dogtoys.com they always send a extra lil treat. Well this time they sent something called Talk to Me Treats which are for fresh breath and dental care. Upon opening the bag I discover they have a most delightful scent of spearmint. Smelling exactly like those green spearmint leaf candies (one of my favs by the way) I have to admit they certainly smell a whole lot better than they taste. Blllla--ck!! Oh be quiet you would have had to try them too... They just smelled too good! LOL!!

~ I got in trouble yesterday for running around like a crazy
psycho dog. I never get to have any fun! :( I hope your summer
is going better than mine. Nikki's friends come and Nikki's
friends go... I try to remind them that I'm here but I guess
they can't hear! Gosh, I can't bark any louder, I'm just a
little dog. Mom says everybody who comes over has to come and
say hi to me but they don't listen to her either. Mom, to a
large extent, don't care for me making so much noise but she
really gets mad when I run all over the place. Especially when
she's sitting on the couch. Course me running from the back of
the couch and bouncing off her chest didn't help matters but I
had to see what was going on outside. You know it's my job to
guard these folks and someday they'll be glad I act wild and
crazy. Move over Rodney!

Wednesday, July 30, 2003 1:44 pm ~ I heard mom tell Nikki she was gonna get rid of me because I keep jumping on her sore knees and toes but Nikki said she ain't allowed. Nikki's in here playing with me now and we're having so much fun! She said I had bad breath though and made mom give me an altoid mint. Then they were laughing at me cause I chomped it right down instead of sucking on it.
Yesterday they cut my finger and toe nails and now I don't make noise when I walk. I kinda liked doing my tap dancing. Jeeez... I never get to have any fun. I did get to eat my nail clippings though and that was fun, tasty too! YUM! Fingernails!! LOL!!
I stole Nikki's
slipper right off of her foot and whacked her in the head with
it. I Loveeeeee my Nikki!! :) She's gonna watch a movie out her
with me. Maybe she'll watch that Ray Liotta movie that has that
rat in it so I can try to attack the TV again. Ok I'm off to

~ YAY!! I was so worried my main squeeze Dinkey might have had
to get dragged to the vet monster. Thankfully his foot boo-boo
got better and he's back to runnin, hoppin, jumpin and playin
again. Now if only I could make my mommies toe boo-boos get
better. Shhh... don't tell nobody cause this is REALLY gross but
on Friday she got yelled at by the toe doctor cause her boo-boos
got infected causea my doggy hair. The doc knew just what color
I was on accounta the hairs he pulled out of her toes. Ewww....
ain't that disgusting?
He told her she was apposed to keep her sore toes covered at all
times but she said the bandaids hurt so she took em off. Awwwww....
Now she's in BIG trouble and has to take not 1 but 2 antibiotics
and some super pain stuffs (she likes that part tho! LOL!!) and
had to go back to see the toe guy first thing this morning. When
dad asked her how her toes were she said the doc said he was
gonna have to cut them off at the elbow!! Heehee... she's such a
silly...
Wednesday, June 18, 2003 4:29 am ~ Mom sewed all my torn toys today there was 4 of them. She finally got some big eyed needles so she wouldn't have a problem threading them. My Dad was eating pizza while she was busy sewing so I hadda be in my cage and just as Mom finished sewing Dad finished eating. ( Shhhh don't tell Ma... he saved me some!! Ü )
Mom lined up all 4 toys and my kitty cat toy on the floor to see which one I'd pick to be my favorite of the moment. I ran over and smelled each one then quickly ran back to Dad to be sure he didn't have some more pizza to share then ran back and promptly picked my puppy. :o)
Tuesday, June 17, 2003 3:05 pm ~ Mom was at the grocery store the other day waiting for Nikki and Mom-Mom to pick up a few things and while she was waiting in the car she heard several dogs barking and couldn't help but notice how many of my canine cousins were left stranded in parked cars.
Just a friendly reminder: Don't Leave Your Dog in Hot Car -- Ever!
If you are taking
a trip by car, be sure to keep your dog comfortable. Bring along
a favorite toy and treasured blanket to make him feel secure.
And never, never, NEVER leave your dog in a parked car in
the summer heat. You know what it's like to sit in your car,
windows rolled up, sun beating down. The temperature zooms up.
It quickly can reach 160 degrees or more. Consider your pet's
perspective, and you won't think about leaving your dog in the
car while you run even the shortest errand. Heat exhaustion and
possibly death could result. Cracking the windows will not keep
the car cool enough for your furry friend.
If your dog shows symptoms of overheating, excessive panting,
vomiting, dizziness, glazed eyes, rapid pulse and deep-red or
purple tongue -- remove it from the hot environment and take it
to a veterinarian for treatment immediately. Be sure to give
your dog plenty of water and shade outdoors in summer.

~ Nobody will let me sit next to them causea my stinky butt...
puuuu.... They kept on laughin at me and tellin me to get away
from them and stuff all night long and my mom wouldn't even
share her computer chair with me or even let me sleep under her
desk in my spare bed. I would be so surprised when this strange
noise would pop outta me and I'd turn around and look and the
smell... whewww... no wonder!! UGH!! Musta been that duck
stuffing I ate earlier. Mom thought she got it all but I managed
to eat some before she turned around. I was trying so hard to
get that stupid lil squeaker outta my duckys nose but alls
that would come out was this fluffy white cotton stuff. Now I
got a ducky with a flat nose but it's still a squeaky nose. Gosh
I love bein a doggy!!

Friday, April 25, 2003 1:23 pm ~ Mom don't usually let me have table food cause I throw up at the drop of a hat but today she let me have a taste of her stir fry. Yummy! You shoulda seen my eyes buggin outta my head. I was like Wooo Hooo Table Treats!! She was laughin her butt off and telling me to slow down. Then I was back up behind her while she was typing to see if there were any leftovers so she decided to scatter a few doggy treats around the room so I can play Sherlock Holmes and track em down. Mom says I'm not as good a tracker as Speedy was but I'm learning. When she turned around I had my paw on the treat jar. Duh?? Who's the better tracker now? Huh? Pffffttt... Why waste time trackin when I can go right to the source. Heehee... MOMS... sheesh ya can't live with them and ya can't live without...
Mom finally updated my adoption page go see it looks real cute. Ü BTW if anybody applied for my adoptions while my ma was sick please apply again k? She was too sick before but she's much better now.
10:22 pm update ~ My dad keeps
snoring in his chair driving my ma crazy so ma keeps saying
"What's That??" well that means bark and run to the window to
look out. I sure hope she don't get me in trouble. I know she
wants me to jump up on dad to give him a kiss but it ain't
working. Every time he starts snoring again my ma says "What's
That? " again. Ain't she bad?? Looks like it finally worked he's
awake!! Yay and I'm getting pets!! Way to go Mom!! Ü

~ Peanut is mad at me for being on the computer. Poor doggy
doesn't know what to do with herself! She keeps whining and
walking around in circles cause she's cold and wants to cuddle

Today while she was reading her book I decided to keep her lap warm only I needed some warming up myself and tried to get under her shirt to get warm but she wouldn't let me so I had to settle on licking her face. Every time she went back to reading I went back to licking until she finally put that dumb ol book down and gave me her undivided attention. We had a grand ol time she was laughing and I was wagging my tail happy to get lots of pets and scratches and belly rubs. My ma loves me sooooo much and she tells my dad all the time how happy she is that she has me to talk to during the day when things get so quiet.

Things have been kinda crazy with mom being sick and all. But I've been getting so much attention because she's sitting on the couch more instead of the computer. I heard mom tell dad the other day she don't know what she'd do if she didn't have me to keep her company and talk to during the day.
Me, I just love snuggling up beside her to catch a snooze, chomp on my bone or to just get pets.

Any day now you can visit me
in the psyche ward of my local hospital. *g* I think my cough medicine is
finally going to my head and I'm headed over the edge. Not only is the dog
talking and answering but now her and Nikki are arguing! LOL!!

2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got? Hotdogs! Just one time I'd like to have one of my very own. Sometimes my Dad or Nikki will give me a bite but that's about it.
3. What's the furthest from home you've been? I used to live at the kennel till my ma adopted me.
4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet? Ummmm.... to poop outside...
5. What are your plans for the weekend? Let's see... I'll play with my teeny tennis balls, chew on my bone a bit, bark at the mailman, get pets from my peeps, bug my ma, sleep, bark, find my marble, chase my marble, play with my marble and my ball at the same time, loose my marble, help mom fold clothes, jump in the laundry basket, get more pets, play some more with my balls, get a drink cause playin makes me thirsty, play in Nikki's room, try to get her new fish, bark at her new fish, bug Nikki, eat some cheese curls, steal some pine cones from the living room when nobody is looking, give kisses, cuddle with mom, eat, bury myself in my nice clean blanket and today is only Saturday... :o)

Mom bugged Dad twice to go
to the feed store and get me my dog food and puppy pads cause
she can't lift those 25 lb bags. He ignored her so she ordered
my stuff from Pet Smart, AGAIN! You'd think he'd get the hint
that's it's much cheaper if he'd go to the store and get the
stuff but NOOOOOO!!
So mom bought my food and I got me a new collar to match my
black spots and some cow hoof chews. And because I need to look out my
back window to see who's coming or to watch my dad work (no
chairs there for me to stand on) she got me a cat perch. Now
when my peeps see me looking out the window they'll see more
than the top part of my lil head and eyes and I'll get to see
everything that's going on! She also got a knuckle bone dog bone treat but
the thing is gigantic. So I guess she'll give that to my cousin
Smokey.
Mom's got a headache again so
this will be short. You all be good!!

All the lil boy doggies on my block are gonna
be knockin on my door when they see me!! Mom's gonna have to

their life. I'm gonna be celebrating a birthday real soon. I'll

Wooo Hooo... My new
My dad's main job when he comes in my family room is first
give me pets then hunt down my balls. I wonder how long it'll take me to
loose 36 of em? Better yet... Wonder how long it'll take HIM to find them all
again?
*g* And I'm a greedy thing too... I like to play with 2 and 3 things at once.
Sometimes I play soccer, sometimes I just kick it then chase it. Mom says I play
with them like I am a cat.
For now mom's only letting me have 12. So when Nikki came in
the room I pestered her to find em for me. She did and got all of them and threw
em up in the air and yelled scramble!! It was like Ooooo... Tennis Ball Heaven!!
Most I can carry though is 2 in my mouth and one batted along with my feets.
Well gotta go got balls to hunt and balls to chew... Until

10:33 am ~ Morning!! Thanks Art ol pal for the tips on
what to do if'n your ma is sick. Bein as I don't purr them
sloppy kisses worked the best! And you were right I did
get lots of pets, she even let me snuggle beside her and shared
her blanket too. Nikki's been home too so I got to take turns
snuggling with her too. Life as a dog is so good!!
Nikki was laughin at me on how I like to
bounce off moms belly and beat her up with my moose or duck. She
don't mind it much when I whack her upside the head with my
moose but when I tried it with my duck I got in big trouble and
got put in my crate.
Yesterday morning Nikki came to greet me and
I was all bundled up in my blanket. I heard her coming so I was
excited and hurried to get up all the while I was still wrapped
in my blanket. She said I looked so cute cause it was still
draped over my head and body.
Ok that's it for today.... Mom can't keep her
eyes open. Look for more pictures soon .

Think that's enough? Mom
picks the mini 1.5" dia. solid golf ball size for me. That's the purple and
yellow one in
the picture. If you click on the balls you can see them up close. I totally love
these lil things and I can smell them a mile away!! When mom or dad get tired of
rescuing them from under the couch and stuff they try to hide them from me but
it does no good cause I can sniff em out and torture them until they give em
back.
