July 9, 2005 9:47 pm ~ Gosh I didn't realize it had been so long since my last post. I'm doing fine and am enjoying my summer. So many bugs... So little time! Ya gotta love it!

My Nikki moved out in April and I miss her. When she comes to visit I get so excited that sometimes I accidentally pee on the floor. Mom doesn't get mad cause she knows how much I miss her. One of these days I'm hoping she'll bring me over to her house so I can play and hang out with her and Chris again.

The other day when mom picked up my Nikki to take her to work a pair of Nikki's undies musta fell on the floor on their trip to the Laundromat the night before so she picked them up and stuck them in moms car instead of running back into her house. Mom brought them in and stuck 'em in our hamper. I kept crying and whining at the hamper driving my mom nuts so she finally dumped all the clothes out thinking maybe onea my tennis balls was in there. Nope... I was hunting real treasure. The undies being on the top while in the hamper made them go on the bottom when she dumped everything out. I rooted, dug and tunneled all the way to the bottom and yanked out Nikki's undies so I could smell my Nikki. I kept thinking she was in the hamper and it only turned out to be her stinky undies. Boo-hoo... Oh well mom and dad got a good laugh and I got to smell my Nikki. :)

On another day mom dropped the soap while she was getting outta the shower after she dried off she picked it up, rinsed it off and just laid it on the side of the tub. It was a pretty yellow bar of soap and smelled like lemons. Don't ya know she had to move it because whenever I followed her to the bathroom I had to give that thing a little lick. LOL!! Ain't I silly?

March 28, 2005 11:47 pm ~ Hope you all had a nice Easter! I got to get Nikki in trouble for feeding me one of those malted milk balls. No sooner did I finish it and up it came on my moms bedroom carpet. Nah-Nah Nik... :P~~~ You got in trouble!!

Things have been going great around here. Mom's been so busy running around all over creation and doing lots of stuff that she doesn't have much computer time lately. Nikki got a job and m9om has top take her to work every morning so sometimes she just goes over and hangs out with her mom or they go shopping together. Hope to be back blogging soon. Love,

February 9, 2005 5:05 pm ~ I haven't been feeling much like blogging these days. Nothing new has been happening around these here parts. Most days I just like to snuggle and keep warm. Nikki has been letting me sleep with her during the week so first thing I have to do when I get up is run into my moms room, jump up on her and say hello. I don't think she minds it much, me waking her up and all. Guess she figures how can anybody get mad at this adorable face first thing in the morning. :o) Some days when Nikki is busy doing stuff and I'm still tired when I go in moms room I just stay there and snuggle in with her. She lifts up the covers and I climb in where it's nice and warm.

I hadda really nice birfday! Got lots of hugs and kisses and stuff... Here's a few pictures... Love,

Ohh Cake!

Yum!

DOGGIE BIRTHDAY CAKE

2 c. flour
2 (6 oz.) cans Hi Protein dog food
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
Milk - enough for batter consistency

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes in 9 x 13 inch pan. Recipe can be "halved" for smaller cake.

December 4, 2004 8:55 pm ~ Howdy Folks!! Just a few things to keep you safe this holiday season. *Ü*

1. NO PUPPIES UNDER THE CHRISTMAS TREE. If you want to add a new member of the family, put his/her stuff (leash, collar, bowls, toys, etc.) under the tree and bring the little one home after the holidays, when everything is back to normal. Little pups need a calm, quiet environment while getting used to their new home.

2. ANTIFREEZE. Antifreeze smells and tastes sweet, and cats and dogs love it. The problem is, plain and simple, it's POISON. A small quantity can kill your best friend. Also, beware of transparent Christmas tree ornaments that have clear fluid in them. It might well be the same stuff they make antifreeze out of, and I know of at least one case where a dog lapped the stuff up when one fell and broke, and DIED.

3. CHOCOLATE KILLS. And I'm not talking about your waistline. Chocolate has an ingredient that can kill a dog.

Chuck just brought up a hamper full of clean clothes for me to fold and she's buried herself deep inside so all you can see is her goofy head. LOL!! Silly dog!!

Ever since Chuck bought her that red collar when she's standing looking out the window she looks like a bowling pin. It's so cute... a bowling pin with ears. LOL!! Hugs,

September 26, 2004 3:39 pm ~ Howdy Folks! Still nothing new going on here. Mom and Nikki say I'm a whiner but I can't help it. Mom says I'm an acrobat. My newest trick is to climb up onto her cedar chest to peek out the window.

Oooowww... I just thought of something... Last week this guy came over to deliver Nikki's new computer. When Mom went to the door the stupid guy had the storm door open and I escaped. My mom FREAKED OUT!! She started yelling at the guy and nobody was home but me and her so no one could help her get me. With visions of a squished me on Rt.# 82 she hurried to call Nikki but thankfully the delivery guy caught me and brought me home. Ain't I bad?? *Ü* It was fun being free. Luv, P

August 14, 2004 8:43 pm ~ Not much new out here in HoneyBrook, the folks were cheating on me with Smokey and Winny AGAIN!! I hate when they do that. It wouldn't be so bad if they took me along but they don't. I haven't done any wild and crazy stuff here of late. Just the same old boring stuff. I got to beat up Chris' boots but then they started beating me back so I bugged mom for instead and watched TV with her. She likes it when I do that. Ok... I'm outta here... Love ya!! P

August 2, 2004 11:23 pm ~ Nikki friend just got a Pomeranian puppy and brought it over tonight. UGH! What a bundle of fur! I'd hate to have to be the one to brush her everyday! But she was adorable! Me and her got along great. Mom was in her room when Nikki's friend came over. She said she heard this barking sound but thought it sounded mechanical so she though Nikki and Chris bought me a new toy. It was a toy alright! She couldn't believe how teeny it was.

Course now Nikki wants a Pom...

Ugh! You'll never guess what happened to me. I was watching TV with mom and she wasn't using the covers so I took advantage of the situation and snuggled myself in. When dad came upstairs I couldn't get unsnuggled! I was stuck between the blankets and all my peeps could see was this lump moving around on the bed. Dad finally came to my rescue and unstuck me. AGAIN... They laughed like crazy! They think I'm so silly sometimes. *Ü* Luv, P

July 30, 2004 4:50 am ~ YAY!! I'm freeeeeeeeeeeee.... I'm finally allowed to roam free through-out the house. Isn't that cool? I can sleep with Nikki or my mom but I don't sleep with my Chuck cause NOBODY like to sleep with him. He snores REALLY, REALLY loud and wakes me up. And when my ma is in her room laying down watching TV I walk on her. It's ok if she laying on her side but I get yelled at if she's laying on her back. She don't like it if I step on her boobs or I squish her belly. It's cool though cause I'm standing up so high and then I usually drop onea my balls on her head. Of course next I have to jump down when she throws it down the hall and I come right back and do it again. Many morning she wakes up with onea my teeny tennis balls digging into her side of under her arm.

Wanna hear something funny? Tonight my mom was laying down cause she had a headache (that Nikki... UGH!! She makes her crazy!!) Anyways... My mom sleeps with a night light on in her room. So I jumped up on the bottom of her bed and just sat there then all of a sudden I saw this giant on the wall! Man this thing was HUGE!! I started growling louder and louder then I started barking. All of a sudden my mom starts laughing hysterically. Whata dork I am... I was barking at my shadow. Ain't I a goof?

Remember I told ya earlier about my new friend Buddy. Look what his mommy made for me. I look so cute. Thanks so much Tracy now I can wink at everyone. *Ü* Buddy lives around the corner. Can you believe it? My mom and Buddy's mom met each other on-line over at Mary's Little Lamb web site. We both got one of Mary 's bear adoptions. One day as we were passing e-mails back and forth we found out we were neighbors. Isn't that cool? Now one of these days we'll have to meet in person. *Ü*

July 17, 2004 1:41 am ~ Howdy Folks! Oh my... it won't be long until it's back to school time again. Whew... Peace and quiet time during the day. Yay! I can't wait!!

Nikki is yelling at me! Every time she puts my balls away I take em out again. She's trying to sweep up around my food bowl but I'm making it difficult for her. It's fun being a pain in the butt. *Ü* Mom hadda go to the store today you shoulda heard me howling when she came home. I was justa singing away... I stole her flip-flops too later in the day. It's funny watching her chase me. All things considered today was a pretty cool day.

July 14, 2004 3:24 pm ~ I just found out my best pal Dinkey has a sister. Her name is Alice. And our neighbors Matthew and Nicolas have a new pal Buddy and even Jana has a new doggy named Emilee. My friend Dawn has a new doggy too. Her name is Jasmine. Everybody is getting new doggies! They're so lucky! Alls I'm stuck with is a Nikki. She's nice and all but she's always trying to decorate me. She paints my toenails and one time she painted each one a different color. And boy did I feel stupid when I went to the vet. All the other doggies musta thought I was some kind of dork.

A couple weeks ago she drew pictures on me with magic marker and colored my tail pink. PINK! Can you imagine!! Thankfully the markers were washable but still. I'm not an autograph dog. But then one day my Nikki was taking a bubble bath and ya know what I did? I jumped right in with her. That was fun! We called mom into the bathroom and she laughed. I had bubbles on my head and under my chin. I looked like a Santa dog. *Ü*

Nikki likes dressing me up and she even puts jewelry on me. I had the prettiest beaded necklace on today. It looked simply stunning! But then later I broke my new collar dad just got me at Wal-mart's. He's gonna be mad. Why he ever picked such a wimpy one I'll never know. I got loose outside but Nikki's friend Eddie saved me. Gosh, I coulda got hit by a car like our first dog Lucky did.

I got a groovy new bed. It's called a Burrow Bed. I walk in, turn myself around and Woo- Hoo... I'm covered and all snuggled in with just my little nose peeking out. I love it cause mom likes to have a fan running while she sleeps and this keeps me so warm and toasty. She put my new bed on the comfy chair she has in her room and when she wakes up I can watch her every move without getting out of my bed. I love being able to sleep with someone close by. Ahhhhhh Life is good.......

June 9, 2004 12:58 am ~ Woo Hooo... I just won a $25.00 gift certificate from SITSTAY. This is so cool because I signed up for their newsletter which automatically enters me into the monthly newsletter contest. This couldn't have come at a better time as I've been officially cut off from spending as per Chuck. Shhhh don't tell but... When I placed my order I did go $13. over the $25. limit. *grin* Cut me off will ya... LOL!!

Peanut is gonna be soooooooooooo happy! *Ü* We're going to try some of these toys. CLICK HERE. I thought it would be kinda cool to get those toys because she likes to seek and destroy the squeakers and we end up with dog toy stuffing all over the family room. This way no stuffing... yay!

I had to laugh... I got Peanut the INTELLIBONE. It took her all of 1 second to figure it out. I had to hurry up and take it from her so I could show Chuck. I was like Chuck watch this... I gave Peanut the toy and she shook it so hard the rings flew off. After we stopped laughing he said guess you better find a smarter toy. Will let you know how it goes when the order comes in.

June 5, 2004 4:05 am ~ Hey there just popped in to say hi.

Guess what? I've been a good doggy here of late and my mommy has been letting me sleep in her room. She has a recliner in her room and she keeps her sweatshirt there just for me to bundle up in. I tried sleeping with her but she hogs up all the room and NEVER stays still so the recliner is much better plus I'm closer to door so I can hear if burglars try to come in. So far the only burglars have been Chuck and Nikki but I guess they are better than nobody at all. Mom was snoozing watching NASCAR qualifying tonight when dad came home and me wrapped up in my sweatshirt I got stuck and dad hadda help me get unstuck. All the while he was laughing telling me what I watch dog I am. How embarrassing!

Moms got this pear on her desk waiting to get ripe but to me it smells like a really tasty ball. I tried to play with it but only knocked it on the floor and got yelled at. It didn't roll very well and she took it from me before I could sink my teeth into it. I did manage to nudge it a bit and it seemed awful heavy. I'll have to keep my eye on it in the next couple of days to see if I can't get another stab at stealing it.

June 3, 2004 12:42 am ~ Gotta love teens and dogs... the scene I witnessed earlier it may not be a good idea to have teenagers when you have a jack.

Picture this... Nikki my 17 y o daughter in a tub full of bubbles and not just bubbles... she had these heart thingys floating in with the bubbles. (Apparently some new kind of fun soap UGH!) And there's Peanut happily sitting in the tub along side of Nikki trying her best to eat as many bubbles as she can while wearing bubbles as a hat and a beard. It had to be the cutest thing you ever did see! I could kick myself for not having any film in my camera.

For sure the caption would have read 'The things we do for love!' Now the two of them are cuddled up side by side sleeping away. :) Ya know I have to wonder if deep down Nikki considers Peanut to be her sister. My 2 kids... asleep and clean... gotta love this. :)

June 1, 2004 12:23 am ~ Gosh... 6 months since my last post! Shame on me! It's not my fault though. My mom has been busy transferring all her pages from Tripod to our new domain. She didn't realize just how big that job was going to be, what with all the different directories she has so instead of just uploading her old site and just update it she opted for a complete overhaul. Ok my moms eyes are getting sleepier and sleepier so we'll have to finish this up another time. Love, P
