Are there any plans for Disney to put The Little Mermaid into movie theaters again?

I saw a movie poster online that said "November 17", with a copyright date 2008. Does this mean that the original Little Mermaid is going to be re-shown?

No, The Little mermaid is not going to be in the Theaters. It is on DVD right now. It was released in 2006 and it is going back into the Disney Vault on Jan 31. However the Little Mermaid 2 is being rereleased on DVD on Dec 16 and that is also going in the vault along with Little Mermaid 3 a New begining.

I remember seeing that trailer when I bought the original Little Mermaid on DVD a few years ago. At first they called it "The Little Mermaid 3" but ended up calling it "The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning" because the story is a prequel to the original, not a continuation of the second.
