Scrapbooking?
I just bought two scrapbooks from the christmas tree shop. I have so many pictures I don't even know what to do with them all. I don't have the money to go out and buy these scrapbooking kits, what can i use from around the house besides colored paper to decorate these?
keep in mind...i've never done this before, i've only put pictures in albums.
all of those sound like good ideas- as long as you don't care about keeping your photos forever. as a scrapbooker, the main concern is keeping photos safe. only use archival quality, acid free products. paper that you have around the house won't cut it- it will eventually degrade. you don't have to spend a lot of money on kits to get great, long lasting results. buy a pack of cardstock (remember- archival) in one color like white or black- this should be less than $5. get some adhesive tabs- again, under $5. invest in a good journaling pen. that's it. now, when you put the album together, the focus will be on your photos and the stories behind them- the main focus behind scrapping.
as for decorating, use the christmas cards you received during the holidays.
